On Feast of Nativity of Christ, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia Celebrated Divine Liturgy at Church of Dormition of Most Holy Theotokos in Singapore

On the night of January 6-7, 2025, the feast of the Nativity of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Patriarchal Exarch for Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, performed solemn divine services of the feast in the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in Singapore.

The parishioners and guests of the church prayed at the services.

Before the beginning of the Divine Liturgy, the Nativity Epistle of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia was read out to the archpastors, pastors, deacons, monastics, and all the faithful children of the Russian Orthodox Church. After the Communion verse, the congregation heard the Nativity Epistle of the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia to the Most Reverend Bishops, clergy, monastics, and all the Orthodox flock of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia.

At the end of Liturgy, the archpastor and clergy performed the glorification of the feast of the Nativity of Christ.

At the end of the service, Metropolitan Sergiy congratulated the faithful on the feast of the Nativity of Christ and addressed the congregation with an archpastoral sermon.

The feast day continued with a joint trapeza in the parish courtyard.
