Bishops of Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia Took Part in Meeting between DECR Chairman and Russian Ambassador to Republic of Korea
On March 22, 2025, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, met in Seoul with Mr. G.V. Zinoviev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Korea. The night before, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the hierarch arrived in South Korea on a short working visit.
Taking part in the meeting were also Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch for Southeast Asia, and Archbishop Theofan of Korea.
During the meeting, issues related to the spiritual care for the Russian compatriots living in the Republic of Korea were discussed.

On March 23, 2025, the Sunday of the Veneration of the Cross, of Great Lent, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations; Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch for Southeast Asia; and Archbishop Theofan of Korea celebrated the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great at the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Seoul.
