On January 7, the feast of the Nativity of the Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ, Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta, Vicar of the Diocese of Singapore, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Dormition of Most Holy Theotokos in Singapore.
His Grace was co-served by the clergy of the church.
After the pulpit prayer, the clergy performed the rite of glorification for the feast of the Nativity of Christ. Then, Vladyka read out the Nativity message of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and addressed the faithful with a festive greeting and handed over chocolates and Nativity gingerbread to the worshippers as a blessing.
