On the feast of Theophany of the Lord, Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta Celebrated Liturgy in the Church of Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in Singapore
On January 19, the feast of the Holy Theophany – the Baptism of our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ, Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta, vicar of the Singapore diocese, celebrated Divine Liturgy and the rite of great blessing of water in the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in Singapore.
His Eminence was assisted by the clergy of the church: Priest Evgeny Shmelev, Priest Dimitry Lavrentiev and Deacon Dimitry Semash.
The chants of the Liturgy were sung in Church Slavonic and English.
At the end of the divine service, Bishop Pitirim congratulated the faithful on the feast of the Baptism of the Lord and addressed the faithful with his archpastoral word.
