Due to the pandemic, the diocese has been managed remotely in recent years. But the systematic work on the construction of new churches and the creation of communities did not stop. Today there are more than 30 parishes in the Philippines. The number of clergymen has increased significantly during the visit of Vladyka Pavel. On November 26-27, the roundtable “The Russian Orthodox Church and Compatriots: Experience of Cooperation in Asia and Australia” was held in Bangkok, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, headed by Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations.

On November 26, 2024, the feast day of St. John Chrysostom, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations; Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch for Southeast Asia; Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi; Archbishop Feofan of Korea; and Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta, vicar of the Diocese of Singapore, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Bangkok. The solemn service was dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the presence of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Kingdom of Thailand.

The solemn service was led by the Patriarchal Exarch for Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia.
