On 2nd Sunday of Great Lent, Patriarchal Exarch for South-East Asia celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Church of Apostle Thomas in Jakarta, Indonesia
On March 31, 2024, the 2nd Sunday of Great Lent, of the Holy Hierarch Gregory Palamas, Archbishop of Thessalonica, Patriarchal Exarch for South-East Asia, Metropolitan of Singapore and South-East Asia, Sergiy celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the parish named after the Apostle Thomas in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were Priest Boris Setiyavan, rector of the church; Hieromonk Seraphim (Punuf), cleric of the Archpastor’s Metochion of St. Vladimir’s Church in Bekasi, Indonesia; Hierodeacon Juvenaly (Marushchak) and Deacon Damian Darmavan, cleric of the Church of the Apostle Thomas in Jakarta.
At the end of the service, Metropolitan Sergiy addressed the faithful with his archpastoral sermon. After that, he communicated with numerous parishioners.
His Eminence also met with the youth of the parish and talked with those gathered in a friendly, informal atmosphere.
