The Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia arrived in the Philippines
On November 20, 2025, the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, arrived in the Republic of the Philippines.
At Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Metropolitan Sergiy was met by: Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, the administrator of the Philippine–Vietnamese Diocese; the diocesan secretary, Hieromonk Corneliy (Molev); the clergy of the Manila deanery; as well as staff of the Russian Embassy in the Philippines.
During the visit of the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia to the Philippine–Vietnamese Diocese, the celebration of divine services and the holding of official events are planned.
On the same day, Archbishop Theophan of Korea also arrived in the Philippine capital.

On June 1, 2026, on the feast of the Holy Spirit, Metropolitan of Singapore and Southeast Asia Sergiy, the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia; and Metropolitan of Manila and Hanoi Pavel, administrator of the Philippines-Vietnam Diocese, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Metochion of the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Ostankino, Moscow.

On 1 February 2026, the Russian Orthodox Church prayerfully marks the 17th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’. In all churches and monasteries, prayers are offered for the Primate of the Church, who was elected to the Patriarchal Throne of Moscow at the Local Council of 2009.
