Meeting of the Synod of Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia was Held
On November 21, 2025, at the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Tagaytay, Republic of the Philippines, a meeting of the Synod of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia was held under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia.
Participating in the Synod were Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, head of the Philippine–Vietnamese Diocese; Archbishop Theophan of Korea, head of the Korean Diocese; and Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta, vicar of the Singapore Diocese.
Opening the meeting, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ and to the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church for their constant support of Orthodox communities in the Asian region.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues was discussed concerning the activities of the Patriarchal Exarchate, the further development of Russian Orthodox Church parishes in the countries of Southeast Asia, and the strengthening of interfaith dialogue in the region.

On the 31st Sunday after Pentecost, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia Concelebrated Liturgy with Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi at Resurrection Cathedral in Khanty-Mansiysk
