On Eve of the Feast of Uncovering of Relics of Venerable Sergiy of Radonezh, Hierarchs of Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia Concelebrated with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill at All-Night Vigil at Holy Trinity-St. Sergiy Lavra

On 17 July 2026, on the eve of the feast of the uncovering of the honourable relics of Venerable Sergiy of Radonezh (1422), His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’, celebrated the All-Night Vigil in Cathedral Square of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergiy Lavra.

Concelebrating with His Holiness was an assembly of bishops who had arrived at the Lavra for the festivities, including Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, and Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, the administrator of the Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam.

The liturgical singing was performed by the combined choir of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergiy Lavra and the Moscow Theological Academy under the direction of Hieromonk Nestor (Volkov).

Among those praying at the service were abbesses of women’s monasteries, clergy and monastics, representatives of the state and public life, as well as guests of the monastery.

The solemn service was celebrated before the revered icon of Venerable Sergiy.
