His Holiness Patriarch Kirill chaired the meeting of the Supreme Church Council

March 18, 2022 in the hall of the Supreme Church Council of the Cathedral Church of Christ the Savior in Moscow, under the chairmanship of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, a meeting of the Supreme Church Council of the Russian Orthodox Church began.

Opening the meeting, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill addressed the members of the Supreme Church Council with opening speech. The Primate spoke about the conversations held on March 16 with The Pope and The Archbishop of Canterbury and the peacekeeping efforts of the Russian Orthodox Church aimed at the speedy end of the conflict in Ukraine. His Holiness also announced and briefly commented on a number of items on the agenda of today’s meeting.

On 17 July 2026, on the eve of the feast of the uncovering of the honourable relics of Venerable Sergiy of Radonezh (1422), His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', celebrated the All-Night Vigil in Cathedral Square of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergiy Lavra.

On 1 February 2026, the Russian Orthodox Church prayerfully marks the 17th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’. In all churches and monasteries, prayers are offered for the Primate of the Church, who was elected to the Patriarchal Throne of Moscow at the Local Council of 2009.


On the 31st Sunday after Pentecost, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia Concelebrated Liturgy with Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi at Resurrection Cathedral in Khanty-Mansiysk

On January 11, 2026, the 31st Sunday after Pentecost, after the Nativity of Christ, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Resurrection Cathedral in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk. The service was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi. On the eve of the feast, the Patriarchal Exarch co-served Vladyka Pavel at the All-Night Vigil.
