Cleric of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Seoul gave a lecture at the University of Korea
April 27, Wednesday of Bright Week, with the blessing of Archbishop Feofan of Korea and at the request of Lim Hyoyeon, a teacher at the Faculty of Russian Language and Russian Literature at Korea University in Seoul, Hieromonk Pavel (Choi) gave a lecture at one of the classes.
At the lecture, Father Pavel spoke about Orthodox worship, the structure of the temple and the priestly hierarchy, and also answered various questions from the teacher and students. The audience showed interest in Russian Orthodox culture.
At the end of the lesson, Father Pavel congratulated the audience on the feast of Christ’s Easter and presented Easter cakes, eggs and the book “Catechism of St. Philaret”, recently published by the Korean Diocese of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia.
