“Nativity readings” were held in the Philippine-Vietnamese diocese
On November 16, with the blessing of Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, a seminar was held in the Philippine- Vietnamese Diocese as part of the Nativity Readings.
The seminar was organized by the secretary of the diocese, hieromonk Kornily (Molev), and Priest Georgy Maksimov, doctor of theology, was invited as a speaker. The seminar took place after the Divine Liturgy in the church in honour of St. Seraphim of Sarov in Makalangota, which was served by Hieromonk Kornily (Molev), Priests George Maximov, Moses Kachilig, Roman Buniel, Joachim Gonzalez, Nikolai Salgado, Ambrose Sumagaisay, Deacons Matthew Sale and Alexei Bergado.

On 1 February 2026, the Russian Orthodox Church prayerfully marks the 17th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’. In all churches and monasteries, prayers are offered for the Primate of the Church, who was elected to the Patriarchal Throne of Moscow at the Local Council of 2009.
