Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia Ordained a Cleric of Diocese of Thailand as Deacon
On July 12, 2023, on the day of remembrance of the glorious and all-praised Leaders of the Apostles Peter and Paul, Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy, Interim Administrator of the Diocese of Thailand, celebrated the Liturgy at the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Ostankino, Moscow.
During the Liturgy, Metropolitan Sergiy performed the diaconal consecration of Reader Vadim Butsadi.
At the end of the service, Bishop Sergiy congratulated everyone on the feast. He then addressed those present with a sermon, greeted the clergy and the new cleric of the Thai Diocese, Deacon Vadim.
On the day of commemorating Holy Hierarch Nikolay the Wonderworker, Metropolitan Sergiy celebrated Divine Liturgy at St. Nikolay Cathedral in Bangkok
On December 19, 2023, on the day of of commemorating Holy Hierarch Nikolay, Archbishop of Myra of Lycia, the Wonderworker, Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and South-East Asia, temporary administrator of the Thai diocese, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. Nikolay Cathedral in Bangkok, where today the parish prayerfully celebrated the patronal feast. The day before, vladyka performed in the cathedral the All-Night Vigil and the Sacrament of Baptism.

On May 6, 2023, the delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church headed by the Patriarchal Exarch of South-East Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and South-East Asia met with the leadership of the highest Myanmar Buddhist monastic supervisory body of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee at the Maha Nayaka Monastery in Yangon.
