On March 28, 2026, on the Feast of the Praise of the Most Holy Theotokos (the Saturday of the Akathist), the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Dormition Church in Singapore.

At the conclusion of the service, a glorification of the Mother of God was performed, after which the Archpastor addressed the faithful with a homily.

On March 24, 2026, concluding his visit to Singapore, the Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, visited the construction site of the Russian Cultural Center and of the cathedral of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia.

A meeting was held on the site designated for the construction of the complex. It was also attended by the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta, vicar of the Singapore diocese, and the Russian Ambassador to Singapore, S. P. Ganzha.

The participants discussed the current status of the project and its expected completion timeline.

On March 23, 2026, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’, the Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations, Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, arrived in Singapore. At Changi International Airport, he was met by the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia; the vicar of the Singapore diocese, Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta; and the Ambassador of Russia to Singapore, S.P. Ganzha.

On the same day, Metropolitan Anthony visited the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, where he spoke with the clergy and parishioners. The hierarch familiarized himself with the history of the parish of the Russian Orthodox Church in Singapore and the current life of the local parish community.

Later, during a working meeting, the Chairman of the DECR and the Patriarchal Exarch discussed various issues concerning the presence of the Russian Orthodox Church in Asia.

On March 22, 2026, on the Fourth Sunday of Great Lent, of Venerable John Climacus, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Archpastor metochion of the Church of St. Vladimir in the city of Bekasi (Republic of Indonesia). On the eve, Vladyka served the All-Night Vigil with a litia.

During the service, special prayers were offered for the repose of the newly departed His Holiness and Beatitude, Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia.

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, the Archpastor addressed the faithful with a sermon.

According to a pious tradition, in memory of the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste, those gathered were given Lenten pastries shaped as larks.

On March 21, 2026, on the Saturday of the Veneration of the Cross week of Great Lent, a day of special commemoration of the departed, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Episcopal metochion of St. Vladimir Church in Bekasi (Republic of Indonesia).

At the conclusion of the service, the Archpastor celebrated a Panikhida, during which the clergy and faithful offered prayers for the repose of the souls of all Orthodox Christians who have departed since the beginning of time.

On March 18, 2026, Wednesday of the 4th week of Great Lent (Veneration of the Cross), the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan of Singapore and Southeast Asia Sergiy, performed the first hierarchical Divine service in the renovated Church of the Holy Apostle James, the Brother of the Lord, in the village of Kaliwungu (Central Java, Republic of Indonesia).

Before the beginning of the Divine Liturgy, the Archpastor performed the Sacrament of Baptism for three residents of Indonesia, who were given in Holy Baptism the names Vera (Faith), Nadezhda (Hope), and Liubov (Love).

At the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence was concelebrated by Priest Barnabas Van Basten, who pastors the local Orthodox community.

The service was held with the participation of parishioners of the church and local residents.

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Sergiy addressed the faithful with his archpastoral word.

On March 14, 2026, on the Saturday of the 3rd week of Great Lent, the Commemoration of the Departed (Parental Saturday), the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Apostle Thomas in Jakarta (Republic of Indonesia).

Upon the end of the Liturgy, a Panikhida was served. At the end of the service, Vladyka addressed the parishioners and clergy with his archpastoral word.

On 8 March 2026, the Second Sunday of Great Lent, the Sunday of the Holy Hierarch Gregory Palamas and the day of commemorating Blessed Matrona of Moscow, the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Dormition Church in Singapore. On the eve of the feast, Metropolitan Sergiy celebrated the All-Night Vigil with litia.

His Eminence was concelebrated by the clergy of the parish.

On 22 February 2026, Cheesefare Sunday, the commemoration of Adam’s expulsion (Forgiveness Sunday), the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, celebrated the Divine Liturgy and Vespers with the Rite of Forgiveness at the Dormition Church in Singapore.

His Eminence was concelebrated by the clergy of the parish.

Upon the end of the Divine Liturgy, Vespers with the Rite of Forgiveness was served. After the dismissal of Vespers, the Archpastor read the prayer for the beginning of Great Lent.

At the end of the service, Metropolitan Sergiy addressed those gathered with a homily, offering guidance to the faithful for the coming period of Great Lent. In accordance with a centuries-old tradition, the participants in the service asked one another for forgiveness, preparing to enter the Holy Forty Days with pure hearts.
