On September 21, 2026, the Feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, presided at the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Metochion of the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Ostankino, Moscow.

His Eminence was concelebrated by the clergy of the church.

On the preceding evening, Metropolitan Sergiy, the rector of the church, celebrated the All-Night Vigil with litiya.

On 18 July 2026, following the Divine Liturgy on Cathedral Square of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergiy Lavra, in the Church of the Righteous Philaret the Merciful, located in the Patriarchal Chambers of the Lavra, a meeting took place between His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ and a delegation from the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia.

The delegation, which arrived in the Russian Federation, includes representatives of Orthodox parishes, including clergy of the Diocese of Singapore, which unites the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, and Timor-Leste.

The purpose of the visit is to venerate the holy sites and relics of the Russian Orthodox Church, participate in divine services, become acquainted with Russia’s historic and spiritual centers, and strengthen the fraternal ties between the Orthodox communities of the Russian Orthodox Church in Southeast Asia and Russia.

Greeting the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, expressed his gratitude to His Holiness for his support and pastoral care for the development of Church life in one of the world’s most densely populated macro-regions. According to the Exarch, the combined population of the countries within the pastoral responsibility of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia – Singapore, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the Republic of Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, and the Philippines—is approaching one billion.

His Holiness then congratulated Metropolitan Sergiy on his name day and presented him with a Gospel book for travelers.

To all members of the pilgrimage delegation, the Primate of the Russian Church presented English-language copies of his book “Freedom and Responsibility: In Search of Harmony. Human Rights and Human Dignity”, explaining the reasons for writing it and its contents.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill also presented all the participants with commemorative medals and icons.

On 18 July 2026, the feast of the Uncovering of the Honourable Relics of Venerable Sergiy, Abbot of Radonezh (1422), His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ celebrated the Divine Liturgy on Cathedral Square of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergiy Lavra.

Concelebrating with His Holiness was an assembly of hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church, including Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, and Metropolitan Pavel of Manila and Hanoi, ruling bishop of the Philippine-Vietnamese Diocese.

An Orthodox delegation from the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia, representing the Republic of Indonesia and Malaysia, was present at the divine service. The purpose of the delegation’s visit to Russia is to venerate the holy sites and relics of the Russian Orthodox Church, participate in divine services, become acquainted with Russia’s historic and spiritual centers, and strengthen the fraternal ties between the Orthodox communities of Southeast Asia and the Russian Orthodox Church. The delegation includes representatives of Orthodox communities from these countries, including clergy of the Diocese of Singapore.

Following the Divine Liturgy, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, members of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, and the hierarchs who had come to the monastery for the feast served a moleben to the Abbot of the Russian Land.

His Holiness then proceeded to the Trinity Cathedral of the monastery, where he venerated the honorable relics of Venerable Sergius and bowed before the icon of the Holy Trinity painted by Venerable Andrei Rublev. Afterwards, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church delivered his Primatial address to the faithful.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a meeting between the Primate of the Russian Church and the delegation of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia took place in the Church of the Righteous Philaret the Merciful, located in the Patriarchal Chambers of the Lavra.

On 9 July 2026, the feast day of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, led the Divine Liturgy for the patronal feast of the side altar at the Patriarchal Metochion of the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Ostankino, Moscow.

On the eve of the feast, the Archpastor served the All-Night Vigil.

Concelebrating with His Eminence was the clergy of the church.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a procession took place.

On 7 July 2026, on the Feast of the Nativity of the Honourable and Glorious Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan of Singapore and Southeast Asia Sergiy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Metochion of the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Ostankino, Moscow.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were the clergy of the church and Deacon Moses Sedjati, an Indonesian student of the Saint Petersburg Theological Academy.

On March 17, 2026, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia celebrated the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts at the Church of the Holy Chief Apostles Peter and Paul in the city of Semarang (Central Java, Republic of Indonesia).

His Eminence was co-served by the rector of the church, Priest Vissarion Mahardik.

For the feast of Holy Pascha, in recognition of his zealous service to the Holy Church, Priest Vissarion was awarded a liturgical-hierarchical award – the right to wear a nabedrennik.

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, the participants of the service gathered for a common trapeza (church meal), where the Archpastor continued his communication with the parishioners.
